To this day I cannot get my head around dance music fans buying merchandise. The artists are doing it to cash in on idiots, but to me clubbing was more about looking decadent and individual than wearing a GroundUnder T-Shirt, looking like a fucking sweaty fucking Monsters of Rock fan with 50 other people. I will bet to this day you will never see John Digweed wearing a fucking Bedrock Baseball cap, but fair play to him, it probably pays for whatever he has done to his face to make him look like Bagpuss.

      I’d buy a simple Innervisions-logo t-shirt and wear it to a club looking like a total cunt, but they won’t do one.

        whatever Almost always terrible when a DJ just plays all their own stuff (artist/label/remixes) but that was some cynical shit resurrecting the Bunker to boost vinyl sales of content that came out months ago.

        Said this a while ago about the transitions shows where he does that and it made SM001 cry a little.

                      ArchimedesQ I was a bit bored with the music last night tbh. To play ALL Bedrock stuff when Bedrock really hasn’t put out much to shout home about recently gave it a bit of a late night shopping channel feel for sure. He’s still my favourite DJ, but he lost me as a listener of his Transition shows years ago. Just sift through the tracklistings now for the odd gem that might appear, but rarely does.

                          ScottBailey Close. It was the one post gig with Sasha giving this deep stare. Around the same time.

                            BlainSA out of 104 (ish) releases in the last two years I’ve purchased 20 individual tracks. That’s not taking into account some of those releases were Quattro albums with 30 odd tracks on them each. Wouldn’t really class that (in my eyes) as prolific.

                                ScottBailey I don’t think it’s been a very good label for a long time - that’s all I was getting at. The odd good tune here and there with a lot of meh around it.
