        C_J gold is typically inverse to the market as is the US Dollar, best hedges there is if market tanks but the indexes are holding up today.

        Who you trading with? Trading 212 have short leverage stocks 1x, 2x & 3x on most of the bluechips, Iā€™ve been short recently on tsla and now NVDA today. Basically any gains I typically get from shorts I put into my long positions to average down. Iā€™m still a bull but it has to be done the last 15 months have been brutal but we have to be getting nearer to the end of this bear market. Still maybe not in English but best I can do!

        Gold stocks too but make sure they have a good income and balance sheet not some pennystock rubbish.

          Iā€™m pretty much a long-only guy looking for passive income / minimal volatility. focused on longer term macro plays & asset/sector/country selection than individual names. 3x short lev are not in my playbook lol.

            I think whatā€™s really been driving the markets is rates and it looks like ā€œwhatever it brakesā€ might be off the cards (in other words we might be looking at looser money again since the banks are dying) so Iā€™m feeling more bullish now and thinking about coming out of cash and gold and into stocks and bonds.

              C_J yeah Iā€™m bit more bullish now tbh and this past 15 months have learnt me some valuable lessons which was needed to go forward for the long term.

                            Glad I held on to all my tobacco shares. Everyone starts nailing the meegs and booze when everything else falls apart.

                            LOL. The passive income stream I spent a year building by working on it until 2am every day after work has just completely collapsed because Google have closed the search engine feature/bug it exploited.

                                Yeah you have a point. Itā€™s an unpleasant phrase used by odious cretins.

                                Perhaps a more accurate term in my case would be ā€œpensionā€. lol.

                                bosstrabs to be fair, mine is built entirely from the ground up. There are a couple of packages included but mostly built entirely from the ground up. Just n income yet. But i a sure it will come!

                                There do seem to be a lot of apps that literally sit on top of websites and either charge you for it or slurp your data. I cannot see how they add value but people seem to lap them up. My mate is building a community using disaggregated insurance products. People love it. Good on him.
