ALFOS stomper
House music feat electric guitar which isn't shit?
Cankles-McJeggings …really good shout!
I have the white with the ‘Fire on High’ sample, it was one of the o/g one’s too, the pressing was super-loud… also remember being reet pissed off when those booties appeared. Need to dig this one out.
Only other similar instance of this I can remember was Havana’s ‘Ethnic Prayer’ which sampled Tears for Fears ‘Change’. Lawyers caught up with them between the record being promo’d and the official release, which had a replay of the synth riff and was SHIT in comparison. They inevitably eventually bootlegged the promo version.
Thankfully Zoom where I did all my record shopping in those days used to get all the 23rd Precinct/Limbo whites so that’s a treasured one too.
This is one of the things I miss about the vinyl days, chasing secret weapons like this that so few had access to.
Along_the_Wire The original track is much better.
hugopal true, the vocal is fucking appalling. Think I’d blocked that out when I thought of it to be honest.
KLANG!
Good to hear, always comes across well I must say.
Where’s Hugo to explain this?
Interesting.
Is this the version you have damo or was it pre this?

Cankles-McJeggings …would need to dig it out but think that was it.
The released version was a really poor approximation of the TFF sample:
