LT42 alistair erm, he’s a cruiser weight who battered all and sundry before taking the step up, so yeah, technically you’re right but not in the context you’ve given, he’s a far better boxer than any of the top heavyweights, whether that carries him to glory or not remains to be seen.
alistair LT42 I object to being charged £25 by Eddie Hearn for any fight least of all this. Joshua will have faced tougher sparring partners.
Smallman1 You don’t have to pay for it Alistair. And I’d be there if my friend on the board at Matchroom wasn’t in St Lucia. Onwards!
alistair LT42 I was talking about tomorrow’s fight with Pulev, Re: Usyk/Joshua, I probably would pay to watch that, although I still think it’s steep
Hursty Amps I’m no expert, but we will find out a lot when he takes on Fury next year. That has to be the biggest fight in years, and I think Fury will win for what its worth. Joshua spanked Pulev last night though, top effort.
Dubman Hursty I thought it should have been all over by the 4th round especially after the 3rd. Pulev was a poor challenger. Should be a good fight against fury.
Amps Hursty He proper looks the part does Joshua, but when he gets turned over by the likes of Ruiz, you assume he will get a pasting against Fury. For what it’s worth Fury looks like the worst boxer in the world.
LT42 Smallman1 Could be Caleb Plant before Golovkin. Saunders shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath as Canelo.
LT42 Campbell did alright last night but gave Garcia too much respect. He actually went down a gear after the knock down, Garcia was there for the taking. Nice punch to finish but still, Campbell let him back into the fight too easily.
Old-Dutch Agreed. Campbell should never have let him back in that fight. Think that’s the end for him now
Smallman1 Have just been watching some of Canelo’s previous fights. Am going to state the bleedin obvious here but he is genuinely dangerous.
Hursty I know this is the Boxing thread but just seen that McGregor had lost again, what a shame lol, what a fucking clown he is. Ah well more money in the bank.
LT42 The WWE beckons for the clown. Leaving the stadium on one leg, limping like he’s been cut down with an axe, expensive suit and climbing into a Rolls Royce, it’s all out of sync and tacky. I wish he’d fuck off for good too.
