Yep, Del Boy will provide a reasonable test though, durable but limited.

LT42 He has to otherwise Usyk’s heavyweight career will have still birthed. Chisora is an essential stepping stone.

Smallman1

Is this bumfight on ppv? I read somewhere this plus a fight with that other english pudding are going to be ppv eventst. Hearn has a fucking cheek! Raping people for ppv fees when the main events are nowhere near the required level.

You don’t have to pay for it Si, no one’s holding a gun to your head.

Although saying that, you do live in Belfast, so someone probably is.

I would imagine the old IPTV viewing figures will be through the roof. Not sure anyone will pay for it. And leave the belfast jokes to me, please., eddie You got glassed in manchester for fuck sake, imagine what would happen to you in a tough city.

I wouldn’t last 5 minutes in Belfast Si, I am very aware of that!

Unless Belfast’ers like public schoolboys with top top bants that is?

I see lee selby is fighting on the card too. That helps a bit. Tommy McCarthy from belfast also fighting, perhaps i was a tad harsh. Chisora just grinds my gears, how he is still getting to headline PPV events is beyond me. Usyk will surely pick him apart.

Smallman1 Fury and Joshua have got literally nothing to fear from Usyk. Fake heavyweight

alistair Didn’t think so myself, Chisora did well but at the end of the day there wasn’t much skill, just a massive lump lumbering forward and taking it in the chin. Usyk was fast and accurate throughout. Not the biggest but the potential is there.

Still can’t see past anyone but Tyson Fury being the king of the division.

Cracking night, spent 2 hours chatting with Barry Hearn at the bar before going ringside and meeting AJ.

    KLANG.

Usky needs to put on at least a stone.

      Great boxer mind.

      He’s amazing.

      None stop stories.

We covered everything from Lockdown to Trump and fishing on British Columbia to Steve Davis and Jimmy White.

        Wembley Arena.

        With no fans.

        Strange experience.

Best knockout of the year by Davis great 6 rounds that was and good to see a crowd.

Money on Pulev for tomorrow night?

alistair erm, he’s a cruiser weight who battered all and sundry before taking the step up, so yeah, technically you’re right but not in the context you’ve given, he’s a far better boxer than any of the top heavyweights, whether that carries him to glory or not remains to be seen.

LT42 I object to being charged £25 by Eddie Hearn for any fight least of all this. Joshua will have faced tougher sparring partners.

You don’t have to pay for it Alistair.

And I’d be there if my friend on the board at Matchroom wasn’t in St Lucia.

              Onwards!

LT42 I was talking about tomorrow’s fight with Pulev, Re: Usyk/Joshua, I probably would pay to watch that, although I still think it’s steep

Can someone with knowledge of boxing tell me if Joshua is actually any good?

Amps I’m no expert, but we will find out a lot when he takes on Fury next year.

That has to be the biggest fight in years, and I think Fury will win for what its worth.

Joshua spanked Pulev last night though, top effort.

                  Hursty
I thought it should have been all over by the 4th round especially after the 3rd. Pulev was a poor challenger. Should be a good fight against fury.

Hursty He proper looks the part does Joshua, but when he gets turned over by the likes of Ruiz, you assume he will get a pasting against Fury. For what it’s worth Fury looks like the worst boxer in the world.

Another win for Alvarez, what’s next, Saunders?

                  Golovkin or Saunders.

                  He’ll batter both too.

Who are we putting our money on here? Penciled in for September apparently.

Smallman1 Could be Caleb Plant before Golovkin. Saunders shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath as Canelo.

Campbell did alright last night but gave Garcia too much respect. He actually went down a gear after the knock down, Garcia was there for the taking. Nice punch to finish but still, Campbell let him back into the fight too easily.

Agreed. Campbell should never have let him back in that fight. Think that’s the end for him now

                    20 days later

Have just been watching some of Canelo’s previous fights.

Am going to state the bleedin obvious here but he is genuinely dangerous.
