Cankles-McJeggings Alhambra is arguably the hottest I’ve ever been in my life. I think it was 45 or something daft and it was literally like walkimg round the inside of an oven. We both had to lie down in the car with the Aircon on for an hour or so to come round. Fucking brutal it was.
gcw Cankles-McJeggings Does Oz not get close to that (or just not the part you are in?) I think I experienced 42/43 degrees once in Cyprus. I absolutely love the heat but this was beyond enjoyable, struggled to even think straight
Cankles-McJeggings It does occasionally yeh but you’ve usually got a coastal breeze and aircon. At Alhambra we were stuck walking round a fucking giant oven with no respite. Nearly killed us.
Homegrove Cankles-McJeggings how people live willingly in a place like Phoenix (Arizona) is beyond me. It’s pretty much a large city in a place not far from Death Valley when it comes to heat.

benson alistair totally agree mate. Fucking scandalous that I should get annual leave. Worse still is the days off I have accumulated from working fucking loads of nights because we don’t have enough junior doctors. Keep voting tory and I’ll keep getting time off 🙂
