baggers44 I’ve been trying to get some decent rips off some old vinyl and occasionally off you tube (I know!|). running it through the aux channel of the RX2 straight into he Rekordbox record function which is all very easy….. but the quality is poor and the levels are really low even though the master output is running at about 80 % which is nothing like as high as i usually have it. I suppose on the water theory it could be my stylus …..leads or something in the device. Maybe I’m better off running it into my laptop with Audacity - Any ideas ? Ta
Dubman baggers44 I want to record some vinyl mixes but my old analogue mixer is no good. I’m waiting for a shop to open so I can buy a xone 23c.
sbando I used to connect the mixer to an external soundcard, then I would capture the source with Audacity. I’d also run ClickRepair to fix some of the noise.
Wasily I take it to a studio and get a mate to rip at 24 bit, using a Prism ADA analogue->digital converter, clean it with CEDAR and remaster it with Izotope. I’m happy to do a few for anyone who wants to send them. PM me.
