Wally Roger that, cheers mate.
Playstation 5
Amps Yeah, same this end.
I’m getting really shit at MP and that used to be the really big draw for me. Getting into TLOU has been a real treat though.
Trouble is these massive games like rdr2, the witcher etc take fucking ages to get through. I’m definitely warming more to well polished 20 - 25 hour max games like Tomb Raider. Uncharted, tlou etc. But even they take yonks when snatching an hour here or there between nags.
Millsy Completely agree with that, Millsy. That was part of the appeal with MP, you could just pick it up and have a few games. RDR2 was just too big for me and there was too much riding about, I like things a little more linear. Having said that, I fucking love GTA
It looks like one of Yant’s trabs
bosstrabs At least Yant’s trabs offer comedic value.
This looks like something Amstrad would bang out.
Top tip lads: use one of those ‘how long to complete a game’ sites and sort your play order by time taken. I usually do long->short->long->short to balance things out. Keeps things fresh.
Tbh, I think there’s only a few mega epics these days. Love them. Nothing like a quality RPG with LOADS OF EXPLORING.
mono-stereo It’s from Michael Jackson’s Scream video.
So what are the good games?
Got GTA V, which I’m currently replaying, Rugby 22 (utter dogshit, not even many licensed teams) and I’m just downloading Far Cry 6 because it was £23 in the sale.
bosstrabs The Last of Us 1 & 2 - best games I’ve played for a long, long time. They’re releasing a new version of the first game made for the PS5 in early September, so worth waiting a short while. I’m gonna buy and replay it - they updated the shooting mechanics, which was probably the most mildly irritating part of the original.
Along_the_Wire is the second any good? Loved the first - one of the best games I’ve ever played - but put off by the reviews and don’t want it to tarnish my view of the first.
I still can’t believe they are not easily available to buy, it’s been almost 2 years ffs. I ended up getting an X Box Series X last year but I’m thinking of selling that as the games I’m interested in are all PS exclusives.
Re: games for PS5. Far Cry 6 is great, especially for £23. Doesn’t require much investment.
Horizon Forbidden West looks good and if its as solid as its predecessor it will be worth a go
The new God of War is out in November. That should be epic
Millsy the Last of Us 2 is superb. Perhaps not as great as part 1 but I think that is because part 1 was the first real quality game of its type that its almost unbeatable. Its about a 30 hour play through and gets pretty grim in places but I’d really endorse it
Millsy it’s superb mate
