GU 45 - Danny Tenaglia - Brooklyn
Better than I expected. Quite enjoying it
Digweed played the Danny T Cevin Fisher track as the second to last tune in Ibiza in June. Went down great.
Have just hit play.
Hold tight for feedback!
I shut this off faster than john wick 4. Iāll just assume it didnāt get better.
I couldnāt get to the end of mix one. Too many old tunes Iāve heard too many times. On a positive note, John Elliot from Trafik did a bang up job mastering it, or polishing a turd.
Gave this a full listen today. Cd1 on way into work, cd2 on way home.
Itās a stinker isnāt it? The most forgettable tracks and vocals. Nothing of any note on either disc. That Radio Slave track on cd1 is one of the all time worst things Iāve ever heard too
How the mighty have fallen. From the majesty of Athens to this tripe
Donāt say that Iāve just ordered the GUDT baseball cap!
Heās been rubbish now for 20 years, so this shouldnāt come as any surprise to anyone.
Dry-Tinder He needs some clued up tune pickers ffs.
Dry-Tinder I did like cd1 of his Balance though so I was kind of hoping this might be similar
On the flip, Saizās balance is somewhat better than I expected.

I was finally able to listen to this.
I thought Disc 1 was pretty inoffensive - which is better than I was expecting tbh. The DT & Cevin Fisher track was surprisingly decent and thereās nothing as egregious as say āIn and Out of My Lifeā on there. Itās generally too āfunky houseā for my tastes, but it grooves along alright and it at least very vaguely sounds recognisably Tenaglia (in his housier mode).
Disc 2 however turned out to be the kind of thing I was dreading from him - mostly just dull as dishwater, plodding āmelodic technoā type crap. The Jay Lumen and Developer tracks were the only time my ears perked up a bit. The vast majority of the rest seemed the kind of generic bilge that anybody in that sphere could have put out.
