hugopal Homegrove Stanhope is ace. That new show is surprisingly great as well, cheers for the link. Tbh I’m surprised Hannu has the temperament for his comedy.
hugopal LT42 Why strange? Because Stanhope isn’t anywhere near the level of fame as Depp, and I had the impression he was someone who wasn’t so keen on the limelight off of stage. But there are clear overlaps in their personalities and interests.

benson The opening 5-10 minutes of Gervais are pretty good. A lot of the rest of it is meh, but some is quite funny.
LT42 benson yeah same here, Bens. I actually fell asleep. I’m starting to tire of the comedic style where they just rant about political stuff and such and dress it up as comedy. I’ve been watching a lot of Steven Wright lately to get away from that. Just witty jokes. Back to basics.
