Homegrove Mark Normand doing comedy in Germany

Seems I didn’t miss anything.

YouTube keeps serving me Shane Gillis videos, so I gave his netflix special a go… laughed hard, perhaps more than I should have. He’s like a self-aware Kenny Powers, not entirely sure if it’s shtick or if he’s genuinely like this… either way, hilarious.

Also… he might be my boy, but I’m glad Hasan Minhaj is being called out for the shoddy stand-up comedian that he is. He’s garbage and always has been.

Homegrove Now that’s a good joke.

It doesn’t work:

“The British Isles are a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean off the north-western coast of continental Europe, consisting of the islands of Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Inner and Outer Hebrides, the Northern Isles (Orkney and Shetland), and over six thousand smaller islands.”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Isles

I think terms to have been used for this joke should have been ‘biologically’ and also ‘geographically’.

That would be a better discussion and allow us to have a technical comedy workshop on this issue.

What was said cannot be dismissed at this point as…“It doesn’t work”.

bosstrabs Absolute dogshit and about standard for Hannu comedy

Not funny and doesn’t work. Other than that it’s great.

Front row tickets to Daniel Sloss in March. Went in blind, friend is organising. Hope he’s good.

Dave Attell’s new special on Netflix was disappointing. I mean I did laugh out loud a few times, and he’s still sharp and fast, but other than that I struggled to imagine showing it so someone who I’ve been talking him up as a legend. Well, at least he’s not turned into a “ooh I’m so edgy” comic like Gervais or an angry unfunny rich man like Chappelle.

Kyle Kinane is coming to UK next year. Top three comedians for me at the moment, and most of his specials are free on Youtube.

New Anthony Jeselnik on Netflix is fantastic.
