Old-Dutch Always liked Slattery. Wathed a documentary about him a year or so ago - he suffered with bi-polar and was in a bad way with drugs and booze for a long time. RIP fella
Millsy I actually had no idea he was gay (Slattery, not Dutch). Might have to dig out that recent Slattery documentary as I used to love him on Whose Line. A troubled soul (Slattery, not Dutch), but won’t rule out the bad AIDS (Dutch, not Slattery)
vinnyt77 Aw, that’s fucking sad. Big fan of his improv on whose line when I was a kid. I think that show was more responsible for getting me into live comedy than anything else… Watching it, not doing it. Obvs.
-si- I will do my best to quash it, dutch. One minute millsy is spreading these tall tales around an internet forum, the next thing krishnan guru murthy is door stepping you to ask why you deliberately shot the aids into your lover.
Along_the_Wire I think improv is a bit shit and silly if I’m honest, but RIP anyway, it wasn’t his fault.
vinnyt77 Along_the_Wire I think improv is a bit shit and silly if I’m honest Pretty sure when they replaced your shoulder, they accidentally removed your joy as well…
Old-Dutch vinnyt77 Along_the_Wire I think improv is a bit shit and silly if I’m honest Pretty sure when they replaced your shoulder, they accidentally removed your joy as well… But remarkably managed to leave the massive chip for the replacement
LT42 The American version of Whose Line was excrutiating to watch. Even when Robin Williams was on there it was shit. Loved the original, many a late night snigger was had. Slattery was hilarious when he was on form. RIP.
