LT42 Love that story of him after the WC win in 66 - waking up on the living room floor of an old couple in Dagenham with no idea how he got there or who the old couple were. Lol. RIP
Homegrove Kirk Hammett bought his old custom Les Paul for something like a million dollars a few years ago. That’s a lot of money for a guitar.
iamdusted Flares Ah man. One of the most tragic stories in music. My aul man was a massive blues fan and I listened to Peter Green a lot growing up. Can only now appreciate him. Treated poorly by his band mates after the Munich thing I think. Shame

Along_the_Wire My mate Ted from Bolton. 54. Tripped on his stairs yesterday morning, ruptured a non-malignant tumour and died. RIP I need to re-evaluate my life - I hadn’t seen him for almost a year. I’m absolutely gutted.
LT42 Along_the_Wire sorry for your loss, G. I know the feeling, mate. I lost a childhood friend to a brain haemorrhage 5 years ago this August. He was 40. Make the most of every day, lads.
Along_the_Wire jonattonyeah LT42 Bloody hell fellas, there’s a lot of it about, sorry. I think I need to develop an exit strategy from my job and change course
jonattonyeah Jesus, bud, that’s awful. So sorry. My GF passed away five years ago this October. Out of nowhere. You never get over it. Just used to it. I certainly don’t stress the small things anymore. But the flipside is, everything kinda feels small now.
