They also done a scheme for us self-employed as long as you weren’t a ltd company or only just started. I didn’t work for the first 3 months of lockdown. So I was able to claim some money. But even if I did work I was still able to claim. I know people who were getting £4.5k and working full-time. They were literally giving us free money.

Yep, I know a few lads that got the covid grant who didn’t really need it. I think people forget at the time the sheer uncertainty flying around, its the only reason why I think the Tories just got the money out there. They didn’t want to be accused of not supporting the self employed
