also I know of nothing that backs up your specific claim that asymptomatic transmission is impossible for somebody with asthma.
covid probably isn’t a respiratory disease in the way you think. It’s more likely an endothelial disease. As the lung has a lot of endothelium it gets affected. But it’s a disease of blood vessels, not airways. Asthma is a disease of airways, not blood vessels.
