      Dan you’d had to be nuts to choose that hovel over the Cross

          alistair I went there once and it was speed garage ….lasted two hours (decent flange count) but then nipped over the road and went Renaissance.

          However when they gutted Bagleys and turned it into Canvas it was much better as was The Key.

            alistair Don’t… When I was about 19 had an argument with my school mates over going to Bagley’s or The Cross. It was a fucking Renaissance night too. Guess where we ended up… Ariel 10 hour set or something. Fast forward about a year and their tastes had developed enough to realise their massive mistake. Should’ve dumped them. Ended up listening from afar in the chill out area outside

              That Key club was great in it’s day …. saw some great sets from Sasha/Colin Favor/Joey Negro (not funky house)

              The Sasha set where he played for 8hrs on a Thursday night at The Key was absolutely sensational.

                          Cankles-McJeggings I listen to this very occasionally thinking that I may have missed something, but after 25 years, I concede that I haven’t. Maybe the only people getting nostalgic spent the 90s noshing of more than one bloke, at the same time
