Along_the_Wire born and raised in Somerset. Moved to London in 2004, but headed down to Blazin in 2021.
Dry-Tinder can’t say I’ve ever been, so wouldn’t know. Was the club there in the early 2000s? Feel like I would’ve known that back then if it was.

No, back then you had Lakota, which is still going bizarrely, the Blue Mountain, which was more like a pub, Creation, which held Slinky nights, there was Empathy which was a good night, I can’t remember the name of the club that it was held at, which is funny because it was the one that I went to most.

I recall that one, but never went.
WAV is a decent venue for 909 events.

Infamous and Heresy was a fun night out. Think that was at Lakota. Or maybe Club Loco?
I lived in Bristol for a year back then. 1999 I think. I was a fucking wreck for that year. Bristol was great, but had a proper menacing side to it. Not been back since.
Showed short video of hackney to a colleague at work. She asked why on earth would anyone want to go clubbing with so many bald men
. Thought the men/women ratio was decent downstairs actuallySmallman1 I felt quite young in there. Obviously, that’s saying something. Quite a few of the birds were in a right state, seemed like this was their first night out on tablets for quite some time.
Sober clubbing is eye opening. Some people were having a great time

Agree there were more birds than i expected. Good to see the oldies getting a night out, and saw many who were even older than me / in their 50s going strong
