              Wasily Well, it’s not that strictly defined. It’s just an observation I have made over the past few years of travelling to all of them.

              Beijing’s dominant outside cultural influences seem to be American, there is a rock and roll scene, hip hop and basketball styles dominate.
              Shanghai is more upmarket and looks to European chic for its influences.
              Hong Kong - everyone is skint because the cost of housing is so high, and also people aren’t so arriviste/nouveau riche as the mainlanders. New Balance are a natural choice.

                Remember when @rhouses took the piss out of me for having some of the best NB ever made then went out and bought multiple pairs and carries on doing so as we speak? Said they were for Asian women and couldn’t be taken seriously.
