ScottBailey Looking at this somewhat objectively, Blur appear somewhere in pretty much every ‘Greatest albums ever’ list (even US magazines like Rolling Stone’s) and Cast appear in absolutely no-one’s top albums ever list.
Except possibly yours. And my mate Chris from the pub back home who has a sub-100 IQ and is a car salesman.
I have seen both bands. In fact, I have seen Cast about 3 times (supporting other, better bands), and they were utter shit every time. Except once when they extended Sandstorm into an improvised jam. Probably the only interesting thing they’ve ever done in their pedestrian, derivative 60s pastiche act lives.
