Brit pop was the thing the other lot were doing when we were hitting our early clubbing years . Was well aware of what was going on but was so caught up in going out and tunes didn’t really take much notice at the time . There was so much going on in the house scene . Only really started looking back at this era in the mid 00’s . Plus my generation had the whole indie dance era, from the Mondays, Flowered Up, Roses etc so Britpop was a little meh compared to that loony scene .
That said, what a time to be young and alive . Mid 90s UK. Everyone going bonkers to whatever tunage and gear they could get their hands on . Zero fucks. Zero social media. Halcyon days indeed
