  • Where To Drink The Best Pints Of Guinness In London

Guinness is shite. There, I’ve said it. It’s actually a Protestant brewery that started it - that’ll definitely fuck off the Irish lads. Luckily, I don’t care.

17 days later

Had a lovely pint in the Coach and Horses. A decent drop and the ‘slightly run down old mans pub’ ambience works well.

Good to see that Amps hasn’t worked out that there are around 258 pubs in London called the coach and horses!

Smallman1 it’s the one in covent garden - just down from the opera house i think - nice pint.

Smallman1 It’s one of the two on the list. Have at it!

I couldn’t imagine chancing a pint of Guinness beyond this hallowed isle. It must be absolute muck.
    Shit just doesn’t travel.

      Has someone mention The Toucan?

Coach and Horses is an Irish boozer - nice visit, especially for the cheese and onion Tayto’s

Had a horrendous pint of Guinness in the Sun and 13 Cantons on Saturday.

        Cheers!

Smallman1 Christ, that brings back memories. Pretty sure I went to a Hybrid album launch party there back in about 2000/2001?

seanc80 Its why most of the beer is shite in the UK as its all brewed under license in Birmingham which kills any identity or taste it had.

As you say, for those which are imported, this doesn’t work as well.

Local beer from local breweries is the way forward

Hursty Local beer from local breweries is the way forward

Hursty getting his Brexit cards out on the table!

Hursty sometimes local beer is shit. Then what do you do?

Smallman1 you knows it! When you go abroad the local beer is always fantastic and you never see it anywhere else for that simple reason
