You’re welcome.
This is Ed doing biz dev for the pub scene.
Speaking of the black stuff, has anyone tried those nitrosurge mallarkys?
(Not a euphemism)
Bit late for someone on the emerald isle but i bought a nitrosurger a few weeks back. They are the best pints of guinness you will have at home but nowhere near a good pint poured from a quality pump. The stout is still watery like a lager, the same as it is from a tin or even a shite pump. You’ll never get the creamy pint at home. Saying all of that, i’ve bought another six pack of cans for this evening so they aren’t that bad.
The nitro cans are a fucking rip off by the way. 15 quid for 6. I can get 24 tins of big cock for that.
Nobody tried the old electric toothbrush trick?
Old-Dutch Yeah ages ago, needless to say my mate Mike wasn’t too happy to wake up with his mum’s sonicare up his arse.
Lol. Cavity protection.
Not the same, mate.
The thing with these cans, whether draft or nitro, is that you’re never going to get a pint like that from a quality pub. A good pint of black is creamy rather than thin and watery like a lager.
The jewellery cleaners, toothbrushes etc fizz the can to a certain extent, as do the nitrosurger but its next to impossible to get a proper pub quality pint. There’s a twitter page showing all of the shit pints of black all over the UK. A good pint from a nitrosurger will better a shit, watery pint from a hardly used tap in a pub.
I have been smashing Guinness back at a rate of knots recently.
All whilst thinking ’dere’s more to Oireland dan dis.'
Hearing you mate. Have a beer tap at home and it pisses on most pubs if I’m being honest
-si- I think they are pretty good, definitely much better than the poxy draught cans of Guinness, we were in Liverpool last weekend and the scaldy hotel bar had the sliver original nitro cans that went on sale in the uk first and I have to say the nitro surge gold cans are much nicer/ smoother, hard to beat a proper pint in a pub mind.
A couple of years ago I ended up in some boozer on the Holloway Road. Problem is I have little to no memory of it, but I do recall the Guinness being fine. We played darts. I know that. And we left without our heads being kicked in, which I also remember feeling was an accomplishment.
