Just to report that the cat6 cable worked a treat for an indoor test run. Have now tacked it round the outside of the house and am awaiting the 400mm long drill bit to get it through the external walls. Pull through rj45 connectors and a decent punching tool has made putting the ends on dead easy. rather pleased with myself tbh
