Amps hotel receptionist getting it all wrong there. You wouldn’t get that at a Premier Inn

Amps as long as it keeps the heating bills down in all for it!

Hursty Sure, but be aware the food shortages and mass migration of half the planet may have a knock on effect to the snooker coverage.

Along_the_Wire Sort of what I imagine the JC Christmas meet ups to look like.

Amps I’m not sure it will

        Hursty Fingers crossed eh!

Amps what’s the biggest action you take to reduce your climate impact on a yearly basis?

Hursty posting shit on here probably

              RichM I was wondering!

I think most people do what they can to reduce their climate impact where applicable but feel aggrieved when the over-hyped bullshit is touted as a direct attack on them and their lifestyles

Most places in Europe are light years ahead of the rest of the world where no-one gives a shit

Hursty Choosing to not have children, I haven’t taken a flight anywhere in over five years, the house is insulated to within an inch of it’s life, I eat organic when I can / it makes sense, I try and buy ethical clothing, but it’s a nightmare, and as such I try to just consume less, haven’t bought any trabs for a few good years now, I’m just wearing the collection I have.

Haven’t sorted an ethical bank yet, and haven’t gone all in on the solar panels, but that is because I’ve been looking to move house since before covid, and it just hasn’t happened for a bunch of different reasons.

I try and buy as much clothes from ethical clothing brands as I can. It’s easy for t shirts, jumpers, hoodies and underwear. Not so much for everything else though.
The insulation thing surely everyone does as it’s just a way of keeping you home warmer for less money, regardless of any climate benefit?
I do try and consume less stuff, and more conscious on food I buy and its packaging. I always recycle everything (even though it prob all goes to landfill anyway, but at least I’ve tried)
I wouldn’t stop flying for the climate, but would get a train instead if it’s a) not massively overpriced b) not massively increasing travel time. So that kind of limits where I would use train over plane!

                  Your alright eh Jack!

                    Live genocide:

Amps I realise it is selfish. But try and do my bit elsewhere. Hopefully the airlines can improve things over time so they are not causing as much of a climate impact.

Are you hoping the Easter Bunny is real too!

Amps Haven’t sorted an ethical bank yet

Good luck with that one, lol
