Lol. Some team they’d have been

hugopal because he’s talking about a personal choice and there could be a number of reasons as to how that would impact his own carbon footprint. Hursty asked him about his personal contribution, you’re the one who implied the nonsense and what you wrote is some of the dumbest shit I’ve read on here in a while, and that’s really saying something.

Smallman1 I put the recycling out every Monday.

This is Dave Angel signing out.

But do you sort into recyclables and residuals?

NO BECAUSE ALL YOUR POSTS ARE RECYCLED AND YOU ARE A RESIDUAL MEMBER OF THE BOARD.

      Hursty
There’s nothing wrong with being challenged to do more though is there, within reason.

      We could all do more.

Let’s use Ed as an example.

Putting his rubbish out isn’t really much of an effort, but isn’t the limits of what he does either - don’t think he owns a car either and is a public transport kinda guy. More positives.

      Could he do more, probably.

But harassing him to do so without recognising the good he already he does is a bit imbalanced.

However, there are vast swathes of people who just don’t think about it - I watched some cunt in the supermarket car park just idling a big diesel ute thing for half an hour, you could see the plumes of shite drifting across the car park. See same outside schools FFS.

More awareness = good, and change needs advocates. Even if snooker fans are inconvenienced.

LT42 Hursty asked him about his personal contribution, you’re the one who implied the nonsense

A contribution indicates a positive act.

Your waffle has not explained how if you can consider not doing something to be a positive, how you could then consider doing that thing to also be something positive.

If they had put Hugo in the same room as Fred West I reckon many lives could’ve been saved as Fred would’ve fuckin topped himself.

“You’re using a shovel to dig through hardened soil? when you could just as easily be using a hydraulic drill. Who digs their own garden anyway? And at night too. Why not just dig in the morning when you can at least guage the amount of work you’ve completed. I mean what if…..”

The sound of Fred furiously ripping the lid off the bottle of potassium cynaide in the background

LT42 disturbingly accurate imitation of what Hugo writes like.

A big fave, whose efforts deserve recognition.

His CV isn’t screaming out team player though?

Just another comment from you that fails to address the question.

Yeah, Amps would be on the sidelines cheering - “Go on Fred and Peter - keep saving the planet!”

Some great takes in here lads, it’s like 606’s Savage and Sutton have done a phone in on humanities.

hugopal If you’re not having kids then why do you even give a flying fuck what the climate will be like for future generations?!?!

Because I have empathy with other human beings and the human experience.

hugopal If you think that having kids is a bad thing, then why would you support and care for the kids other people are having?

Because otherwise it’s like Amps saying that he doesn’t think it’s morally right that he should drive a gas-guzzling 4×4, yet he encourages other people to do so, applauds them when they do, and even buys them a nice air freshener and some new tires as a gift so they have a more pleasant journey.

It doesn’t have to be a binary choice. Becasue you choose A you don’t have to hate B. I like chocolate cake, but that doesn’t mean I want all bakers of other cakes to be stopped and locked up, I’m not worried that resources and shelf space are going to cheese cakes at the detriment of chocolate cakes. I quite like cheese cake, not as much as chocolate cake, but I have room in my life for both of them. Christmas cake can fuck off, but nobody has to die.

Hursty doing your bit, most people are doing something, however it will never be enough for the eco warriors who want to shame you for every single action or life choice.

The problem you have is that things like recycling, has almost fuck all impact when compared to not having kids or not flying. Recycling isn’t doing your bit. The problem is bigger than that.

Amps This is my point, no matter what people do, it isn’t enough for some, they always have to go the extra mile based on their own specific beliefs derived from the datasets they read

Amps Some great takes in here lads

I appreciate you at least attempting to answer the questions…

Your analogy is a bizarre and confused one, but anyway, I’ll try and decipher what the heck you’re trying to get at:

“I’m not worried that resources and shelf space are going to cheese cakes at the detriment of chocolate cakes”

Let’s swap the terms of discussion back in to that sentence and see how it makes sense…

“I’m not worried that resources and shelf space are going to having kids at the detriment of not having kids”

So if you really are not worried about the resources and shelf space used by having kids, then how is your not having kids saving the planet?!….

                    We go again!

hugopal Back up thread you confused Amps not wanting to have Kids with Amps not wanting anyone having kids.
