mono-stereo Just skipped through it. A lot of these tunes sound middle of the road to my ears. I still don’t get the fascination with Dixon.
seanc80 Thought this was fairly meh. I Listened to the Ame saturation one properly yesterday. Aside from a handful of tracks and a truely magnificent pocket of 25 mins halfway through, it was fairly forgettable. The Mano one is the same.
zackster Smallman1 one peek at that TL and I knew you’d hate this. So Dixon is playing Matthew Dear’s BRAIN. alias now? Not a good sign, Ed.
Wasily jonattonyeah Dixon looking like he could use a Centrum. Hopefully not in the same way Tom Hiddleston does…
Alias-The-Jester Actually really liked this on the second listen Doesn’t that actually mean, that it is shite and you’re trying hard to like it?
Homegrove Alias-The-Jester Yes, but also no. Thought it was messy at first listen, but it stayed at the back of my head long enough to make me want to listen again. Made a lot more sense on a second listen.
zackster Homegrove it really is. It sounds like something from 07. There is so much outstanding Octatrack produced techno around right now. It really takes some doing to make something so flat.
Smallman1 Dixon isn’t a complicated Dj so when he tries to play complicated music it just sounds horribly awful. Stick to the big room Innervisions bangers.
Smallman1 The last time I saw Tale of Us was at Printworks a couple of years ago. Have never 6,000 people so bored in my entire life.
zackster Smallman1 went to one of their Afterlife parties in BK last summer. Klock was closing one of the two rooms. Was absolutely awful. No vibe and packed to the rafters. Average dude weighted about 125lbs and looked on the verge of suicide.
LT42 zackster Was absolutely awful. No vibe and packed to the rafters. Average dude weighted about 125lbs and looked on the verge of suicide. Lol
