  • Election 2024: The Fate of Democracy

Amps this is a done deal now?

Apparently not. Because ‘electoral college’ according to the experts.

It’s no where near a done deal, it’s going to be incredibly close one way or the other.

Trump’s performance in the debate was awful, but debates don’t often move the needle. He lost both debates in 2016 and still won the election. Toss in that Harris still isn’t likeable and offered zero insight into any tangible policy outside of the abortion issue and you have a close race.

Amps She couldn’t even compete with Biden in the primaries leading up to 2020. She’s more likely to win this election than Biden was and she’s less unelectable than Hillary, but those are both very low bars.

Whilst America has form in political assassinations, they’ve been having a reg recently.

Smallman1 Trump: "ah shit, I just lost the debate, let’s pull another false flag “assassination attempt” to make people think I’m a threat and might win"…

And yet nobody can predict the outcome of the election with any certainty. The US is absolutely nuts, he should be punished for that sort of shit!

-si- there’s some fella who has called all but one in the last 50 years (or thereabouts) and has got one wrong and that was the dodgy Bush / Gore mes where Gore should’ve won. He’s called it for Harris.

We also had an octopus who picked the world cup winner at the last tournament, so we can’t rule out lucky one or the other choices each time…
