You do have to marvel at the level of narcissism.

You just know from his commentary that Ed’s delusion extends so far, he believes that women are so completely at ease and comfortable around him that they (and him) revel in their respect of each other and flitter around eachothers ‘friend’ boundaries like a dog around a garden perimeter. He is also so worldly and knowledgeable about the fairer sex that he believes they think he is ‘different from most men’.
When, in actual fact, the reality is that he would throw it into every single one of them if they gave him so much as a whiff of opportunity.
