Along_the_Wire seanc80 Android specifically - the phones themselves are very good, but the OS is shite in my view, especially their Wear OS which was almost unusually versus Apple. To be fair, Apple is very good at keeping you in their bubble, but I like it because everything just works
Matt My Son has the S23. It’s a very good phone. My last 3 phones have been pixels and I prefer the S23. The only thing that stops me from moving to Samsung phones is their version of Android. It;'s not a patch on Google’s IMO.
Wasily Whatever the merits of android over iOS are, I personally found switching out of the apple ecosystem a pain in the neck, especially if you use a MacBook and iPad which I do. I didn’t find the benefits of doing that were worth the hassle and am back in an all apple system except for music production.
Wasily Along_the_Wire I use Ableton Live, Izotope RX10 Advanced and Ozone, Mixmeister Studio. Having a PC gives me freedom to use double monitor, select a sound card, etc.
Dubman Dan Same here. Pixel 7 at the moment. I’m going to keep it for a few years. Decent camera only slight drawback is no expandable memory.
Dan Dubman I had the pixel 4xl and the camera was amazing. I’m now on my 6 which cost 500 and they threw in A Buds. Does everything and it’s supported for five years. I’ll probably replace the battery for about 50 quid in after three years.
