Unbroken1 TBF, I’d given up on the ADID beach hammock sound until you posted that new Qess track. The new comp is decent and marks a slight change in sound.

And that particular track was aimed at Alistair as he’s into that sound.

SM001 …wasn’t having a pop mate, just lol’ing at the fact that ’isn’t terrible’ was enough to get a track posted up here! (tbh I didn’t actually listen yet)

alistair …I think ‘beach hammock’ might apply to the likes of Lost Desert, GHIZ etc, and not all of that stuff appeals to me, but the likes of Volen Sentir, Mohrr/Valdovinos, Tim Green etc. are way more housey/hypnotic and much more up my street. Anyway, point being I would’t give up on a label based on a couple of their artists when a healthy percentage of their output has been quality for the last couple of years.

I’ve heard some OK stuff on Afterlife too by the way, I just find a lot of the nu-prog producers very samey and tend to gravitate towards the housier end of things.

Well my face is red. 😅 No worries chief. What I meant is the track itself is good ,the rest of the comp isn’t terrible. Which is about as complimentary as I can get about Afterlife these days.

A few of the artists on afterlife’s latest have produced for Innervisions in the last year (Nandu, Innelea etc).

alistair …deffo some artists on there I’ve enjoyed/played, Fideles, Lehar, Ivory. Speaking of hit-and-miss labels though, the ‘must-buy’ Innervisions tracks are few and far between too these days.

Skimmed through the comp and not much appeals to me tbh.
