alistair Happy Christmas indeed. Been after Hael after the Shanti mix from March time . Beast of a track .
What are you listening to at the moment?..
alistair Frog song is superior. Merry Christmas, Al!
ScottBailey you too mate. Band on the run for me!
alistair I was trying to be facetious!
ScottBailey I know. Jamming with you
alistair Was watching some of that Beatles ‘Get Back’ documentary the other day. My god was it long and boring! Most I got from it was the affirmation that Lennon & McCartney were/are a couple of assholes, and that Harrison & Ringo were just hired hands.

ScottBailey It’s all a bit fly on the wall. I don’t think the footage was ever meant to see the light of day. I guess the album creation process is pretty boring unless you are in the thick of it. Love the way Macca nonchalantly writes Let it be and Long and winding road on the piano in the same day or two. Just another one I knocked off earlier!

Just started watching the excellent documentary about Sparks and reminded me of an old techno track from the early 90’s which sampled ’This town ain’t big enough for the both of us’.
The opening of the track was just the vocal & then the music started. I’ve definitely got it on vinyl but can’t find it and I don’t know the name of it
Does anyone know what it’s called.
alistair actually they kept talking about the whole thing being a bigger package than just a live album, so it was all purposefully recorded to be used in a documentary one day.
The McCartney/Lennon writing credit debate was definitely settled though. Lennon was always late to the sessions and Macca had already been at the songs for a fair few hours, with George and Ringo watching on mightily bored (yawning)…

ScottBailey Peter Jackson said there was about 60 hours of footage to work with.
