You lucky boy. I say them when they first performed it live back in the early 90’s

SM001 ok I agree with you that the Pet Shop Boy-esque vocals on this version are not the greatest and I feel the original was superior to this. However, glad they’ve honoured the excellent underpinning instrumental to a large degree and irrespective of the track it’s beautiful vinyl to look at. So a bit like enjoying a Bedrock t-shirt even if the gig you bought it at wasn’t the greatest, having the vinyl to celebrate 25 years since the track was released is still a treat.

CindyLouWho it’s awful. Why they would even consider ruining a classic like that. Digweed should be embarrassed of that on his label.

RichM I prefer the original track tbf…. Honest…

It’s still streets ahead of all that monotonous shaker bilge

            I approve.

CindyLouWho apart from the obvious atrocious lyrics, the breakdown in the midddle just makes it feel like it’s aimed for dance anthems 2025 or whatever commercial crap dance music comps are out there now.

RichM ok fair comment. It’s true that the lyrics are atrocious, you are right about that. It’s still a lovely piece of vinyl though so a nice anniversary bit of merch to look at.
