It brings back fond memories of Slough Center 1990 pilled up on doves with those lazers dancing across that packed room.

It was such a great venue. I don’t think it was that big either.

30 mins in and a decent Sunday morning listen…

Journey Beyond was created from an extensive set of tracks sent to the label that were initially sequenced as two shorter EPs. With the first offering a slower 80bpm trance style, and the second EP, a classic 130bpm trance style. However, over time, with tracks swapping in and out, ASIP had the idea to create a mixed version, progressing through the tracks and increasing bpm’s, showcasing Mikkel’s ability in bridging euphoric worlds - and a style that is often reserved for Mikkel’s live performances amongst the forest raves held as part of the Ute Collective in Norway

Got sent an email from asip promoting this. It’s very good as most of their releases are.

Saw the Orb last night and they did a brilliant beefed up version of this number.

You lucky boy. I say them when they first performed it live back in the early 90’s

Dubman Co - Written with Slam 👌🏼

Mad_Cyril will give this a whirl later. Don’t hold tight for feedback, stay loose for logical opinion.

SM001 ok I agree with you that the Pet Shop Boy-esque vocals on this version are not the greatest and I feel the original was superior to this. However, glad they’ve honoured the excellent underpinning instrumental to a large degree and irrespective of the track it’s beautiful vinyl to look at. So a bit like enjoying a Bedrock t-shirt even if the gig you bought it at wasn’t the greatest, having the vinyl to celebrate 25 years since the track was released is still a treat.

CindyLouWho it’s awful. Why they would even consider ruining a classic like that. Digweed should be embarrassed of that on his label.

RichM I prefer the original track tbf…. Honest…
