Along_the_Wire comma might have been in the wrong place. I meant unless you’re in a restaurant (which typically only sells bottles)….
Along_the_Wire an absolute must with a ruby though
Millsy Obvs, but they’re as much a restaurant as a McDonalds
Along_the_Wire racism!!!
Along_the_Wire Fuck me, restaurants that sell pints are a massive swerve
Did you mean to type “restaurants that don’t sell pints are a massive swerve”?
hugopal No
Along_the_Wire that’s a bit odd - I’ve been to a decent number of good Michelin-starred restaurants that have beer on tap.
hugopal Good for you, I haven’t.
Along_the_Wire Good for you, I haven’t.
How many restaurants nowadays are there even which don’t have beer on tap?!
Millsy Nazi’s are as Nazi’s do, Millsy.
I’ll have a Super-Nazise Mc-Goose-Stepping sandwich meal
With an Aerian McFurher
Old-Dutch 😂

Manteca yesterday didn’t.
Hope that helps.
hugopal there aren’t many and those that do don’t serve it up in a pint glass.
6 pubs, 8 pints and I called it a night. Feel like death now.
Homegrove 6 pubs, 8 pints and I called it a night. Feel like death now.

So you’re fine with places that serve pints of beer on tap but not in pint glasses? Do you call them up in advance before booking a table to check the shape of the vessel?
It’s almost impossible to find a proper pint here now. Order one and you get some 14 or 16 oz “sleeve” bullshit. Most places will serve Guinness in a pint glass, but even that’s starting to change.
303abuser sounds like those pansies in Australia with their schooners
It’s crazy. And all the servers are 19 years old, don’t even know that a pint is a unit of measure, and can’t figure out why you’re asking why they brought you a tiny glass instead of a pint.
303abuser WTF is a sleeve?
vinnyt77 Some marketing guy’s idea of selling shrinkflation. Raise the price by a dollar and knock 4-6 ounces off the pint.
