I honestly donāt know how the SM works. Basically Iāve either heard that track in which case I can ID it, or not. Sometimes Iāve heard that track but canāt ID it. If I was really pushing it, and knew who played it, I could search their recent tracklistings- which works for someone like Sorsha who plays the same thing for months. If I really had the time and knew the track before, I might search recent BP listings for tracks from similar labels, perhaps in the same key. Or even try Shazam or a similar app.
But how can he ID an artist and the label its forthcoming on but not the track?
Anyway, Iāve decided to call his bluff and have emailed Michael from Fort Romeau for confirmationā¦stay tuned.
