RichM Iran is an important country geopolitically, they could in theory close the Straight of Hormuz which would cut off a huge chunk of global oil and gas supplies.
Also, if the war escalated further and expanded to a bigger war, potential nuclear activity, the potential is huge.
Sounds like many are banking on the Iranian regime to fold and the people themselves to usher in a new order but it seems a bit premature to say the least and quite ambitious. As for a forced change they would need boots on on the ground their country is pretty much impenetrable so that method is off the table.
This bombing will no doubt strengthen their resolve to fight and destabilise the region further, which in turn will tank the markets
