I am not. However I do do TM, which I find beneficial. I applaud your efforts to expand your consciousness and reduce stress and wish you luck with your own journey.

Absolutely. I didn’t like how everyone was insinuating this was you shoving things up your ass. Real lack of emotional maturity by the lads.

bosstrabs the gateway experience stuff? Very out there. You can pay a small fortune for the tapes or if you look hard enough there are free downloads on some enthusiast’s Google drive

bosstrabs that was an enjoyable read. Probably a load of bollocks though and it would probably be more effective to take a heroic dose of psilocybin or DMT if ‘transcendence’ is what you want to experience.

The tapes and the gateway method? Can’t hurt to try I guess. In worst case you’ll have wasted a week and in best case you can now relax and meditate better.

The CIA is know for exploring all kinds of ‘paranormal’ avenues during the cold war in any attempt to one-up the others.

        All sounds like mumbo jumbo

All you need is to listen to this

        bosstrabs well that’s bloody interesting

I started using Binaural from relaxing sounds on the Alexa in my bedroom to sleep to about 18months ago. My sleep has been fucking superb since I started. Best sleep I’ve had in years, wake up far more rested and focused than I ever have

bosstrabs Just had a look on reddit and there are some quite intresting anecdotes on this. Have you tried it yourself?

On a similar-ish note I found this article interesting:

It’s actually quite easy to write alot of this kind of stuff off as woowoo, but then when you look into quantum mechanics (particularly quantum entanglement) there’s stuff going on that we just can’t explain using traditional physics. Our current view of realitly is incomplete.

Millsy The FT’s review is quite good.

Unfortunately, her approach worked a bit like this: imagine a bunch of people are stuck in a warm, stuffy room together. Everyone wants the windows to be opened, but they are fastened shut by complicated locks. While people try to work out how the locks operate, one of them, Liz, attempts to throw a chair through the window. The chair bounces off and hits her in the face.

If you stick the word ‘repeatedly’ on the end there’s a mini-series script that people would watch on repeat, for hard cash

Morty-C-137 In worst case you’ll have wasted a week

Nah, you can’t just listen to them back to back. Or rather you shouldn’t. It’s a process that needs much more than that sort of time investment
