But if she had been trying initially to not just play the track at say it’s original 160 tempo, but rather to match it to an outgoing track’s tempo then it may have been a tad more tricky. That could be why at the end she gave up trying to blend at all and just played the tracks one after the other. Again just speculating.

        While I appreciate that I can still beat match and mix, I do feel a bit ‘who the fuck cares’ more often than not.

        Believe it was DJ Harvey who instilled this a couple years back.

        That being said, every time zackster puts one of his bedroom DJ reels up on Instagram, my only instinct is to think ‘can this fucker mix or not’.

                That is one of my favourites of hers; fair play that you at least plumped for that over Oblivion which I do also like but didn’t listen to as much.

                    Maybe I’m softening up, but I absolutely loved this. And the woman seems to know what she’s doing with all her gear.

                    And this was good fun too.

                    Call me crazy, but I’d much rather have these production skills and this ability for live performances, than being a pro at beating matching two tunes together (and then being judged by a bunch of no marks).
