Many of you may be aware that I run a little underground platform called Mixpub. Over the 8 years of it’s existence we have had many talented DJs play for us, including some of the JC crew, @Homegrove @Wasily @mono-stereo @baggers44 @zackster @ScottBailey @Mad_Cyril and obviously @erik who has a monthly show and @whatever who plays most weeks.
I listen to a lot of mixes and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad one from the JC boys.
I wonder if there would be an appetite amongst the DJs on the board for a JC takeover, maybe every 3 or 4 months featuring 3 or 4 of the chaps, on rotation, or occasionally. Open to suggestions - what do you think?

    Before major liftoff Cream used to have a monthly all-nighter where another club, Hard Times, Back to Basics etc would decamp to Natoon for the night.

    Could easily recreate that vibe with a bit of thinking about who warms up, types of tunes etc…

    Have been thinking for a while that this might be a more sustainable model for something like the Pub - banging out 6 mixes a week can’t be fun / sustainable?

        I hope that SP gets involved in this too, some pre event interviews with the DJ’s and then a live vlog of the event on the day, plus a special guest slot from him to round it all off.

          ArchimedesQ unfortunately I don’t DJ, so unless you want a set like the Grimes one at Coachella, you should exclude me. I just thought it was a great idea
