hugopal All I’m really saying is there’s no point in bringing people down all the time. I have an initial / knee jerk opinion on loads of stuff but it doesn’t need to be said and helps nobody by saying it.
Feeling the need to insult people anonymously online says more about the person saying it’s state of mind and outlook in life than it does about the other person, and I think when you’ve got the ability to genuinely raise interesting discussions you might be wise not to waste your own or other people’s time creating / reading / scrolling past the insulting posts. Some of what I’ve seen you post is genuinely useful and interesting and worthy of people’s time and energy.
I had a close friend just like you who’s spent the last 15 years going from having a good social life to gradually alienating people in an eerily similar manner - whilst sitting on multiple corners of the internet dedicated to proving people wrong and opposing anyone he comes across. He would calm this all down when he went out and enjoyed himself with friends then it would slowly creep back in.
However we are both now nearly 40 and I personally know he’s spent the last 12 years voluntarily living in his mum’s house / bedroom he grew up in whilst doing it so it leaves me genuinely wondering when you last went out and enjoyed yourself over this music with some mates if you speak to people like this in real life.
Some things don’t need to be said man.
