Funky They all should of been aloud to pit once the safety car came out. Lewis had his advantage took away on two fronts including tyres. Too many stupid rules in F1 and to much politics, its all about view figures and they needed them bad.
benson Yup new rule should be that everybody is allowed to pit under SC and you go back to your position when the SC started after you pit. So you cannot lose position under SC. Then everybody gets a free pit. Does seem unfair to work up a 10 second advantage and have it taken away like that
Matt The FIA have disregarded their own rules regarding lapped cars under a safety car for the sake of entertainment. If they wanted a race at the end, they should have red flagged the race so Hamilton could stick on a new set of tyres and at least make it a fair race.

rhouses Matt Lewis got dicked over no doubt. Tyres got cold behind the safety car. There was no way he was going to take that last lap in those conditions, and it doesn’t speak for the car. That being said, Merc should pay for keeping Bottas in that car.
