Rekordbox has been rebuilt from the ground up - using around half the cpu / memory resources and (finally) a native version for Apple Mac so it feels nice and snappy. Plus some cool AI features.
Rekordbox website has been overwhelmed since 8am so I’ve stuck the files on my G Drive. Will replace links with rekordbox site once they fix the site.

In terms of updates:
They’ve rebuilt it from the ground up. Its much faster/snappier. Its especially better on Mac as that version felt cumbersome / clunky. Its now built in ‘native apple’ code. Whatever that means, apple macs like it. Windows will be faster than RB6 too. Alphatheta say it uses around half the CPU / memory resources the old version used to.
It’ll throw down automatic Hot Cues at key points in the track (ABCD) so if you open an analysed track and hit B you can see the loudest point of the track after the first breakdown. I used to do this manually to help me choose tracks on the fly in headphones so will save me time.
AI gets involved. If you are connected at home to Beatport Link, you can ask it to find tracks similar to the vibe/style of the one you are playing. You will hit upon artist/labels you haven’t thought of before so I’m looking forward to this the most.
The preferences menu has an entirely new redesign
Coloured logo icons down the side.
Generally feels cleaner / tidier on the screen
Stems will get an update soon to match those on other platforms as rekordbox has been the worst for this - currently its still not good but I don’t even use it and neither do most in the prog scene.
Improved waveform rendering (less graphics intensive for older laptops)
Other little improvements to make it run smoother

I like where its going, RB 4 5 and 6 never felt smooth on Mac but the new features are handy.
