I’m home safe, thanks Millsy. For me, a really good night! I’ve seen them play at Privilege pre-covid and they were pretty meh, but tonight I thought solid. Sasha went hard from the start, then about an hour of JD around 8 pm then B2B. Not sure if it’s the live performance but it felt like they were mixing into each other’s bass and kicks as opposed to any key/ melodic mixing, so the set felt quite kick heavy and continued in that vein- no melodic floater intros. Sound was decent where I was, getting a lot of it off the monitors. Obligatory shout, but lovely to meet @baggers44, Mrs McCay, and the JC crew @Along_the_Wire @Smallman1 @IndustryStandard @ScottBailey who were on sparkling form. Few money shots…
Definitely one of the good ones. Much better than hackney last year
My initial view is that it was decent, thought hackney was better. Sasha by himself was shit sound wise, was so quiet so could just hear chatter. Johns first couple of tracks were fucking great.
Some belters played in the night but no fucking clue what any of them were

Had an absolutely wicked night! Sasha was right on it from the get go and was up around the 128-130 mark with no messing around.
RichM Sasha by himself was shit sound wise
The sound where @Wasily and I were was great! We were getting a lot off the monitors, but there were also a couple of massive subs right below which were making the ground wobble around us, especially when Diggers came in and dropped some massive basslines!
I was in the pisser when Diggers came on, but sounded like he got quite the reception!
Both of them were on fire with loads of unrecognisable tunes. Only one I trainspotted was the Audio Junkies track that I started my Disc 3 with.
Great to see all the JC crew out again, and big shout out to Alex as always.
ScottBailey I was at the bar when diggers came on, so also missed that, but heard the massive cheer!
