Along_the_Wire It’s already turning into one of those tests where the best you can hope for is a draw.
alistair This looks an accomplished and disciplined WI test team. First for years. Batsmen prepared to be patient and dig in and a talented and quick bowling attack
baggers44 alistair its about time - making our top order look like.,…..well our top order for the last 30 yrs apart from when Trott was no 3!
baggers44 Smallman1 difficult angle to face that is. zipping into your pads - or short into the ribcage. you should come to Lords for a net when it opens again …- can’t be long now!….and get you playing again .

alistair Evidently much easier batting conditions. That’s why England only got 200 in the 1st innings. Look solid now
baggers44 Along_the_Wire pitch is dry and flat. we will struggle to bowl them out i reckon … could do with a world class spinner
Along_the_Wire baggers44 I put £25 on a draw yesterday at 5/2. It’s evens now - it’s certainly the most likely option. WI are 5/1 to win from here.
baggers44 Along_the_Wire They could collapse but I fancy the Windies to knock them off. Rubbish batting last night; Butler looked incredibly off balance - he should just stand up straighter - and the rest capitulated on a flat pitch to bit of 84 mph. weak.
baggers44 Along_the_Wire so i think either Stokes does something superhuman (not impossible) or more likely they will grind them out in 60 overs. A few years ago with Swanny in the team we wd be confident of winning.
