rhouses I think England are missing Woakes as much as either of Stokes or Archer. His record in England in red ball cricket over the past few years is insanely good - around 50 wickets between 2018 and 2020, at less than 20.

Was chatting to one of my team out in Lucknow this morning, and he’s a big cricket (India) fan. He pointed out that there’s rarely been a more perfect position to be in after losing the toss on day 1. Certainly can’t think of any off the top of my head that have involved England…
