I’m sure it’s partly because of his religion as well, but he really has all the traits of a beastly Pakistani bowler from the 90s. An absolute game changer, love him.

My second favourite King moment was when India were leading the Test series at home this year, while absolutely annihilating England, Joe Root taps it straight at him in gully silly point for a possible single, decides against it and is easily back in his crease. King proceeds to fling the ball directly at Root’s nuts, a good two-three feet away from the wickets, Root being the gentleman that he is has a bit of a smile after calling him out on it. King gives him a fist bump. It was like 3-1, the series was over. Lol.

He’s from Delhi with some Punjabi blood in him, no doubt he’s an in your face cunt. And I love him for it. 😂

vinnyt77 even with his 55 you never felt he was in and dominating, merely surviving. for all the worship he receives for his genius he needs to step up and make a difference with the bat when it matters - its easy doing it on pre-prepared roads at home but he has gone missing in 2 out of the last 3 series here in a way that the equally cunty smith has not. he wafts away on the front foot at any 4th stump away swinger - which is a staple ball at this level- which is not the mark of genius if you ask me. he may go on and dominate the next 2 games and i will remove my hat to him if he does, but so far i am underwhelmed.
