He’s a big thicc boy with a big thicc bat.

Love Rohit, easily the most naturally talented and gifted batsman in the world. First Test hundred overseas, but he’s also had 5 100s in the last ODI World Cup in England. 5+ IPL wins as the Mumbai Indians captain. I’d rate his 160 against England in India as one of his absolute best Test innings, but this latest one comes close.

He’s everything King isn’t - chilled out, fitness is secondary, non vegetarian, non confrontational, and he probably brings a ton of relief and humour to the team against King’s intensity. Only player in India who can do whatever he wants, however he likes, without having to follow any of King’s militant and regimented ways. Bought his ODI jersey without thinking twice.

It’s the brain fart shots he gets out to that can be frustrating. Once he’s passed 30-39, the opposition are in trouble in all formats of game. Before that, you can expect a brain fart or two that you have to capitalise on. Having said that, there was one absolute peach of a delivery Jimmy did this series that completely fucked him. Might have been the first game.

We have to punish the English for all the drop catches this game. Have to.
