Nigel Farage would bring it home. Give him a bloody chance!

All that attacking talent and we have a defender in charge

Kane, Saka, Foden and Bellingham up top.

With the likes of Cole Palmer coming off the Dame Judi.

It’s coming home lads!

Bellingham has said his preferred position is a number 8, so play him there and build round him

alistair Yep. If I see Foden playing on the left i’ll join in the anti Southgate brigade.

Saka is pretty much nailed on the right.

The left is a but problematic, who do we have? Grealish and Eze? Its not world beating but its not bad either

I just don’t want to see players played out of position, unfortunately Southgate has got more than a whiff of the Moyes about him

nicksneddon I do like Anthony Gordon on the left. Quick, busy, a nuisance and an eye for a goal when he cuts in.

yes forgot about him, you’re absolutely correct – hes the best of the lot

      I’d like to see: -

      Pickford
      Walker Stones Shaw
      Rice Gallacher
      Saka Foden Bellingham Gordon
      Kane

As a proud Scotsman I would absolutely love to see England go all the way this year. The amount of ability they have in their squad is phenomenal and second to none. Let’s hope they can do themselves justice and take the attention away from the shockingly disgraceful talent vacuum otherwise known as the Scotland men’s football team.

If they were to go out on penalties in heartbreaking fashion yet again…. well, that would be an absolute tragedy.

I just don’t want him to fanny about with 2 DMFs just go for it, Rice is capable of protecting the defence in his own

            Pickford
            Walker Stones McGuire Shaw
            Rice Trent
            Bellingham
            Kane Watkins

nicksneddon I’d rather one more in midfield than a 4th defender. Rice is capable of dropping back alongside Stones when defending is needed, but I’d rather have the attacking players stay further forward. Then either of Rice or Gallacher can also get forward and the other stay when overloading the mid’ going forward.

4 at the back implies Maguire who is an absolute liability. There’s enough pace in the three I suggested staying back. No need for Walker and Shaw to get forward in that formation. Would rather have Gordon and Saka crossing balls than Walker and Shaw.

I think a lot of managers suffer from what Gary Neville described was acutely going on with him when his Valencia got tonked 7-0 by Barcelona. They just would never admit for obvious reasons.

Moyes springs to mind as he used to talk about ‘finding’ the winning formula. Like it was something he might stumble across, sooner rather than later.

Anyway, Neville said in the Barca game that they’d set up in a way he wasn’t expecting and changed it as well. He realised he had no idea as a manager what was going on in the match or what he could do to stop it. Admittedly, it was Barca. I get that impression from Southgate to some degree.

How about we replace Southgate with Henderson? That’s surely going to bring it home???

What ever happens at the euros, the FA should just throw whatever it costs to get Pep and give him 2 years to prepare for the WC. We have a great opportunity to win a major trophy in the next decade or so – I just want to see one in my lifetime ffs
