There’s no need for it to go to VAR because the replays would have shown Armstrong evidently initiating the contact by pulling the defender down by his shirt.

I’m not a massive Scotland (or England) fan - wanted Scotland to do well, but expectations are fully managed as they’re pretty shit as you’ve all seen. Most Scotland fans will have managed their expectation. Also, it wouldn’t have been deserved after that performance

England were as poor as Scotland for large parts of the the game against Denmark and they had all that talent. I think that’s a lot worse.

Along_the_Wire Scotland fans are contractually obliged to support whoever England are playing but I think a lot of us secretly just want to see good attacking football. Slick passing, great goals, exciting games.

RichM There’s definitely plenty about. Meeting up with a Scottish mate to watch England tomorrow, like me, he largely isn’t that bothered. Although to be honest, there’s a large chunk of me that wants a Southgate-based massive fail as I despise him.
