Can anyone point me in the direction of some good up to date breaks mixes, or some recent tracks that have tickled your fancy?

Been loving some of the limited stuff I’ve heard recently and need some starter for tens.

BRONSON’s record, as the knowledgeable people say, is eagerly awaited.

Everyone is playing breaks again, even Jody Wisternoff!

BRONSON? Three tracks, all of them fantastic. The one that Ed posted and the one with Laura in particular.

Just stuck Atlantic Breakers on - not heard that for an awful long time.

Might be a bit more laid back than you are looking for, but:

Solomun put some interesting acid breaks in his latest set.

Everything on Club Glow is extremely fun. Not wack- ass prog breaks, if thats what you’re after, tho.

is it 2003 all over again? Where is Jonathan Lisle and Meat Katie when you need them?

Lightfoot Mate has it got Fadas - Breaks & Banter on there? Great laid back breaks track recently re-released.

Highly recommend this breaks mix from Jon Gurd. Listened to it far more than most other mixes this year.

Jon Gurd proving yet again that Anjunadeep produce some very good stuff among the more generic fodder

Whatever happened to the likes of Adam Freeland and Tayo. They were really big on the scene in the early noughties?
I remember seeing Hybrid play the Gallery at Turnmills with Parks and Wilson and John Graham (cracking night) and they played about about a third of Involver on the week it was released. Lo Fi Burma!!!!

                alistair Adam Freeland

Not too popular in these parts but had some great nights out with Freeland (until he lost the plot with the indie stuff). Was in a band called The Acid. Had a good David August remix if I remember right. Techtonics is still a great mix; one of the better from the era IMO.

alistair Adam Freeland did a live stream from his FB page a couple of months ago.

I never liked hybrid for some reason. I bet they were good live though.

Kohra’s new album is full of beautiful atmospheric breaks. Definitely reminded of the good old days when it was all the rage. Worth a listen if you’re heavy into the genre.
